The short version
At checkout there is a box that reads “Enable my PuppyPoops pictures for promotion.” It is ticked by default. If it is ticked when you pay, you allow PuppyPoops to show your print in our marketing. If you untick it, we will not. Unticking changes nothing else about your order: same print, same price, same shipping.
What “your pictures” means
Your pictures are the finished print file made in the studio: the four photographs you chose, cropped and arranged, plus the name printed beneath them. That file is the only thing PuppyPoops ever receives. Your original photos stay on your own device and are never uploaded to us.
What you are allowing
With the box ticked, you give One Hit Ventures LLC, the company that runs PuppyPoops, permission to use your print, and the photographs in it, to promote PuppyPoops. That includes posting it on PuppyPoops social media accounts such as Instagram, showing it on puppypoops.com, and using it in PuppyPoops ads, emails and press materials. We may crop, resize or reformat it to fit a post, and we may show your dog’s name as printed.
This permission is non-exclusive and free of charge, and it applies worldwide. It lasts until you withdraw it, which you can do at any time (see below). You keep the copyright in your photographs. We get permission to use them, not ownership of them.
What we will not do
- We will not sell or license your print or photographs to anyone else.
- We will not publish your name, email, address or anything else from your order. Your dog’s name as printed is the only name that appears.
- We will not use a print in which a person can be recognized.
- We will not suggest that you endorse PuppyPoops or attribute words to you that you did not say.
- We will not alter your photographs to change what they show.
Your side of it
By leaving the box ticked, you confirm that you took the photographs or have the right to share them, and that you have the owner’s permission if the dog is not yours.
Changing your mind
Before you pay: untick the box.
After you pay: reply to your order confirmation email and ask us to stop using your print. We will not use it in anything new from that point, and we will remove it from PuppyPoops accounts and pages we control within 14 days.
We cannot recall copies that other people have already shared, reposted or saved, or materials already printed. We will not make any more.
If these terms change
Every order records whether the box was ticked, when, and which version of these terms applied. Your print is only ever used under the version in force when you bought it. A change applies only to orders placed after it.
